Update review. Best tacos in town is NO BULLSHIT! Had the Burrito Terraza today it was great. Recommend getting the queso on the side because there is a lot. Like the menu says. I don't think you will be disappointed!
One of the most authentic Mexican food trailers around!! I like getting the chorizo tacos because you can't get them anywhere else ever. My wife enjoys the beef tacos. We always get the green and red sauce to go along with them. Prices are reasonable. Many other items on the menu also. I definitely recommend!!!
What a gem! Had four tacos. Shrimp, al pastor, suadero, and cabeza. I can't decide which one was the best because they were all outstanding and perfectly seasoned. Green salsa was amazing. It was kind of chilly so I asked for a small consomme, and it really hit the spot. Not oily or salty. Just right and exactly what I wanted on a cold night. Happy I stumbled on this truck. Nice guy taking orders. Food was ready pretty quickly.
Amazing. We were traveling after a long day, tired and hungry. We had stopped at a motel and were looking for takeout. Our first inclination was pizza delivery but nothing was inspiring us. I found this food truck on Yelp and was so glad. My wife recently switched to a vegetarian/fish diet. She got two tacos. One was fish and the other one was shrimp. She was estastic. I got her the red sauce and it was fiery hot, just like she enjoys. I got the steak Taco with a milder green sauce and was very happy. She kept talking about her tacos days later.
Very yummy and very nice owners. The tamale was exceptional. Hubby had a steak burrito and it was enough for supper and lunch tomorrow. Same for my Pollo Playa. If you are pressed for time, call ahead so your order is ready. Dishes are prepared to order so if short of time be sure to call in.
Sucker for a taco trailer, I did a U-ey at lunchtime after getting some tractor parts. Located on the corner of Frederic Ave. on South Banker St. sort of across from Enterprise car rental, next to the burned out liquor store. La Terraza is hope in a dark place. Some dishes I consider sacred: steak frites, beef tendon pho, Belgian mussels and beer. In this pantheon is the three corn tortilla tacos meal. La Terraza perfects it. I don't give a fifth star for nothing. So here's the fifth star stuff: double wrapped fresh corn tortilla perfectly filled, quick service and a super clean facility, astonishing choices (asada, shrimp, chorizo, carnitas, cabeza, suadera, fish, carnitas, tongue. I would give a sixth star. Why? Three of the best tacos I've had, chips, and a pop. $7. Are you kidding me? Giving this stuff away. It should be $11, easy. Sexiest lunch I've had in a long time on such a gorgeous May afternoon. I had the chicken and asada tacos. They were outstanding. No need to elaborate. Great stuff, and so many flavors to try. As always, could be better. Would prefer a side of pico versus queso. Also, a little cilantro garnish would make the combo a little extra. Regardless, so glad I stopped. Amazing eats. Get thee there.
I am an OTR truck driver and stop at all the taco spots I can find, this has to be one of my favorites so far. Try the brisket tacos! Amazing and the green sauce is really good.
This has become one of my favorite places in town. They have quite possibly the best tacos around and only $2 a piece. Quesadillas are a bit oily.I highly recommend.
This food truck opened in May 2019 and is wonderful. Great tacos (both flour and corn tortillas very good). I've had the steak, chicken and chorizzo tacos. All were great. They also have tostadas, burritos, nachos, etc. but I've only had the tacos. If you are in Effingham this is a great place for some fast, inexpensive, delicious tacos! It gets busy at lunchtime but still only takes 3-4 minutes to get food. The man and woman who work there are very nice and efficient. It is also very clean.
